Fun Stamping
I have had a lot of fun the past couple of weeks stamping with my buddies. My friend Leslie hosted a luncheon and shoebox swap at her home on Friday and I attended my friend Lana's Holiday Workshop
the week before. I have such talented friends and thought I would share some of the examples of their
work that I tried to duplicate. Betty, Linda and Ann also had some great shoebox swaps. I didn't get
a chance to finish all the cards but I certainly will this week. We were all rather tired after 5 hours or so.

Exciting News!
I'm going cruising next fall!!!! Not only am I going on a cruise but it's a cruise with Tim Holtz!!!!! I am so excited about it. I think it will be such a blast to play and learn from Tim. I have loved his work for a long time and have quite a few of his products. The most amazing thing was I heard about this cruise online and it took me about 2 minutes to pick up the phone and sign up. That is just not like me to be so impulsive but it felt great. Now all I have to do is pay for it and stay healthy............say a prayer! If you are interested in the info on the cruise just go Here
I can't believe it's November!!
Winter is creeping up on us like it does every year, but I still don't like it! The only thing that is good about it is that it's a perfect time to hole up in your studio and stamp or scrapbook. Of course you've got to have some chocolate....can't stamp without chocolate!
I participated in a calendar swap with the Yahoo Magnolia-licious group. I will post the pages for each month as it comes up. I just love little Tilda and Edwin the Magnolia kids. I thought all the pages were awesome! This page was made by Sherry Heinrich of Canada.

I've been in the stamping mood today so I was playing around with Michelle Zindorf techniques. I pretty much cased this from her but used a different stamp set. I used Forever in our Hearts from Verve Stamps
as well as Medallion from Stampin' Up. This technique is fun and pretty forgiving if you make a boo-boo!
You can find a tutorial on this technique Here.

My Digital Studio
I have been experimenting with my new Stampin' Up My Digital Studio. This is my first real page. I look forward to getting proficient with this and create some printed books. So far it's fairly simple. Wish me luck!
